I use transitional doc type on almost all of my web pages. I am perfectly comfortable coding in “strict” but it does not allow me to use the target=”_blank” to force a new window on pages leaving the domain name.
Why would I ever switch to strict if all of the competition is still using transitional? What are the advantages?
